Evangel is 36 years old in 2017. We rejoice in the goodness of the Lord upon the church these past 36 years! His faithfulness endures forever. We indeed worship an everlasting, mighty and merciful God who sits in His majestic throne in heaven. All praise and glory belongs to Him.

Evangel Christian Church was started in 1981 by Pastors Peter Chao and Mark Chan. Their mission of starting a church called Evangel back then was visionary and over the years, reflected what God's will and plan was for this small band of believers.

​

This sojourn of 36 years was not without challenges but with God's grace and mercy, this small but faithful congregation continues to minister to others in the local community.

On the 8th October 2017, Evangel celebrates its 36th Birthday! Happy Church Birthday Evangel!
